Pirates give fans a gift for next home game

    The Goderich Pirates are in the giving mood still after the holiday season.

    The Pirates are currently in a huge playoff battle for the final playoff spot in the south division. They are currently tied for the final playoff spot with the Thedford Dirty Dogs each team with 7 points. The Pirates are hoping letting fans in for free for their upcoming home game against the Dirty Dogs on Friday January 13 will be the key for success. The Pirates have beaten the Dirty Dogs both times they have met them this year by scores of 7-4 and 4-3. Those two wins mean simply nothing now if they can't find a way to beat the Dirty Dogs on January 13. The biggest problem for the Pirates this season has been trying to win on home ice where they have not yet won a game this year. All three Pirate wins have been on the road this season. The Pirates are hoping for a big crowd to come cheer on the team to victory. The price is right when it comes to this game as well...FREE!
